OLD BUSINESS:
Lot Donation Status: Still have no more information. Dave Snow will be
contacting the event chairs directly.

Computer Status: Steve Day was absent, Dan will be following up.

Expense Limits: Recommendation by Dave Snow (read by Dan Morency) "I propose
that no individual officer commit more than $500 to any one item without
approval of either the club at a regular meeting, or two of the following:
the President, the Vice President, or the Treasurer."
After discussion it was determined that the recommendation be amended to say
"officer or board member." and would read as follows:
I propose that no individual officer or board member commit more than $500
to any one item without approval of either the club at a regular meeting, or
two of the following: the President, the Vice President, or the Treasurer.
The revised version was motioned to accept by Dan Morency and seconded by
Chris Moberg. Accepted unanimously

Summary of Classing Issues: Dan outlined that according to our handbook we
use SCCA regulations as they exist. The CMC differs in that we have to have
3 cars in a class which creates "bumping" The problem is that many have
classed themselves inappropriately and currently you can't protest a car
that is not in your class. After discussion the following was voted on:
Integrate car classing with the Tech function. Questions should be asked at
Tech in order to tell the driver what two classes they can run in. A protest
is no longer limited to your class. Everyone can protest.
Motion made by Dan Morency; Seconded by Mark Donnelly; Unanimous

ROTY status: Rick needs to call Jason.

Stanchion Tubes: Chris Moberg brought for Dan to weld

Storage Batteries: It was reported that we are in the market for new
batteries as the existing ones are all cycled out. Question: Deep cycle or
conventional? Problem is that the batteries are only being partially
discharged rather than fully discharged at the end of each event. The
decision was made to get one new battery and leave the others for backup.
This is to be taken care of by the new Slalom Chair in the Spring.

PAX Application for Order of Bumped Classes: Chris Moberg motioned that we
use PAX times for bumped classes rather than rely on raw times to compare
for the purpose of awarding trophies in that class.
Seconded by Mark Donnelly, Accepted All

Banquet Location: The Snow Squall can now seat over 100 ppl and is priced
equal to or better than the other option of Spring Meadows Golf Club.
Motioned that the banquet be held at the Snow Squall made by Phil Winslow,
2nd by Dan Morency, accepted unanimously

Friends of Education Award: Congratulations to Richard Duplessis for being
this years recipient of this award presented by the Superintendents of
