AutoX Saturday, May 5th at Brunswick Executive Airport (BEX) – Two Day Event
May 5 @ 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Please use AXWARE to preregister. We have details on that process here if you’re not familiar. This event is a major and will be priced at $40 per day if you preregister and $50 if you register the day of the event. Don’t forget we offer a FIVE event pass at $150 to all our members! This reflects the cost increase in the larger venues and still provides a significant savings to our members that plan on competing with us for the season. We do accommodate same day registration but prefer all competitors to preregister. It’s an easy way to save a few bucks and help us get the event started early. Due to our club/IRS rules we have to impose a $10 weekend membership for non-season members. It’s $10 even if you only participate in one day.
Respect Our Hosts
We must be good neighbors and obey all traffic laws to the letter. Any complaints may cause you to be expelled from the event and possibly future events at BEX. We really appreciate BEX opening it’s facilities to us again. A simple way to say thank you is to drive responsibly.

There is some critical information that you will need to be aware of for this year’s event. Please take the time to read the information below. Thank you for attending, and we hope you have a great time and will come back!
All vehicles will need to be Tech Inspected after you register. Tech inspection will be held from 7 am to 8 am in the designated Tech Inspection Area. You only have to tech once for the weekend.
Listen carefully for the announcement. You must attend this meeting. Specific information that is pertinent to Novices will be given. You will also be teamed up with an experienced driver who will show you the course and where to go on the course.
BEX is larger then most of our venues. Please take this into account when planning to walk the course. Pay attention for communications over the loud speaker. Course walking should be completed before the drivers meeting.
When we get ready to conduct our runs we will be forming the specified run group into a “grid” location near the start area. You will have a Novice identifier (painters tape) placed on your upper driver’s side windshield.
We are requiring that all Novices ride with an experienced driver prior to their first run and also have an experienced driver accompany them on their first run. This will hopefully eliminate problems with drivers getting lost on the course as well as enhance overall safety out on the course.
Everyone will be assigned a work assignment. It is important that you report to work on time. If you are late it slows down the whole process resulting in fewer runs overall for the day. You will be teamed up with experienced people if you are working a cone station on the course. This is to ensure your safety…things happen fast on the course and you need to be alert. At the end of the day after all cars are finished we will need your assistance in helping to set up for the next day or to clean up the area once the weekend is finished.
Thank You For Your Cooperation…Now Let’s Drive!
