There are things that are difficult to describe. Loring's enormity is one of those things. It boggles the mind how much space there is when you have two fourteen thousand foot runways.
Accommodations
The Carbibou Inn and Convention Center (in Caribou) is our preferred lodging (mention the Cumberland Motor Club for the the group rate). You may also look in Presque Isle and its surrounds for hotel/motel options, but camping on site at the event location is allowed if you maintain a clean, safe site.Further information on Loring, and its past, are available on Wikipedia.
